Cookies, counted
like chips.
This website uses a deliberately small stack of cookies — just enough to keep the site working and to understand which pages our future guests read. Here is every one of them, what it does, and how to turn it off.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember something between pages or visits — that you accepted this banner, for example, or which pages were read before a booking request.
Cookies are not programs, they cannot see other tabs, and they hold no money — unlike the chips at our venue, nothing of value lives in them. Because OfferQuestHub is an offline business, our website’s job is simple: introduce the venue and take booking requests. Our cookie appetite matches that job.

Two families only: strictly necessary cookies that make the site function, and optional analytics cookies that load solely after you press “Accept” on the home page banner.
The cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| oq-cookie-choice | Remembers your cookie banner decision so it doesn’t reappear on every visit. | Necessary | 12 months |
| oq-session | Keeps your form entries intact while you move between pages of a single visit. | Necessary | Session |
| oq-analytics | Anonymous page-view statistics — which pages are read, for how long, from which city. | Analytics (optional) | 6 months |
* That is the complete list. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting scripts.
The analytics cookie is set only after you accept the banner on the home page. Decline, and it is never written — the site works identically without it.

Analytics & measurement
When analytics are accepted, we collect aggregate, anonymised statistics: page views, visit duration, approximate region and device type. We use them for one purpose — to know which information future guests need before they arrive at the venue.
What we see
Counts and patterns — “the FAQ page is popular on weekends”.
What we don’t see
Names, emails, addresses or anything identifying a person.
What we never do
Sell, share or enrich analytics data with anyone, ever.

Analytics data is stored in Canada for six months, then deleted. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time — see the next section.
Managing your cookies
You are always in control, three different ways:
The banner. Accept or decline on the home page — your choice is stored and respected on every later visit.
Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies per site; the site remains fully usable with all cookies removed.
Ask us. Write to offerquesthub@gmail.com and we will confirm exactly what is stored against your visit and erase it on request.
Note: deleting the oq-cookie-choice cookie simply makes the banner appear again on your next visit — nothing else changes.

Third-party content on this site
Two external services are embedded in this website, and both may set their own cookies when they load:
Google Maps
The map frames on the contacts page and home page are served by Google, which may log technical data under its own policies.
Google Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google’s CDN for consistent typography; the request contains no personal identifiers beyond your IP.
We deliberately keep this list at two. No social widgets, no advertising networks, no chat trackers. The full data picture for the venue and the site together is in our privacy policy.
Contact & changes to this policy
Questions about cookies, analytics or anything else on this site go to the same desk that runs the venue:
Write to us
offerquesthub@gmail.com
Subject line “Cookie Question” reaches the web desk fastest.
Or in person
8308 144 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5E 2H4
The front desk can print this policy for you in under a minute.
If we ever add a cookie — we’re not planning to — this page and its version date will change first, and the banner will ask again.
