A hotel and casino must know certain things about its guests — and nothing more. This policy explains exactly what OfferQuestHub collects at our Edmonton venue and on this website, why we hold it, and how you stay in control of it.
Who we are & what this covers
OfferQuestHub Entertainment Ltd. (“OfferQuestHub”, “we”) operates a brick-and-mortar hotel and casino at 8308 144 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5E 2H4, and the website offerquesthub.com. We are the controller of personal data collected at the venue and through this site.
This policy covers hotel stays, event and venue bookings, casino floor operations, the Players Club, and your use of this website. It applies alongside Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the gaming conditions of our AGL licence.
In short: if we don’t legally need it to run a hotel and a casino, we don’t collect it. And nothing about you leaves the building without a legal reason.
Data we collect
Because OfferQuestHub is a physical venue, most data is collected face-to-face:
At check-in
Name, government ID number (verified, not stored as an image), stay dates, room preferences and payment method.
On the floor
Players Club records, table and slot activity, and any records required by our AGL licence and anti-money-laundering rules.
Through this website
What you type into our forms (name, email, phone, request details) and basic technical logs such as pages visited.
At the venue
CCTV in public areas of the property, as licensed venues in Alberta are required to operate, retained for 30 days.
We do not collect sensitive data (health, biometrics, beliefs) and we never run online gaming — so there is no online play history to collect. See also our cookie policy.
How we use it
Fulfil your booking — hold rooms, prepare the hall or party venue, process deposits and settle bills.
Meet legal duties — age verification (19+), AGL gaming records, anti-money-laundering and tax obligations.
Run the Players Club — track floor credit, benefits and your host’s notes, so returning feels personal.
Keep the venue safe — CCTV monitoring, incident response and responsible-gaming interventions.
Marketing, only with consent — if you tick the box, we may email you offers; one click in any email ends it.
No profiling for pricing. Room rates are the same for everyone who walks in; your data never changes your price.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data to data brokers. There is nothing to sell: our business happens at 8308 144 Ave NW, not in a database.
Sharing, retention & security
We share personal data only with parties that help us run the venue, each under written safeguards:
Regulators
AGL and law enforcement, where the law requires or permits it.
Payment processors
Card networks and our bank, to complete your transactions.
Email provider
To deliver confirmations and, with consent, our newsletter.
Records are kept only as long as the law requires: guest ledgers for seven years, AGL gaming records for five, CCTV for 30 days, marketing consent until you withdraw it. Electronic records sit on encrypted systems in Canada; paper ledgers live in a locked room behind the front desk.
If something goes wrong: any breach affecting your data is reported to the regulator and to affected guests without undue delay, as PIPA requires.
Your rights & how to reach us
Under PIPA you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw marketing consent, or ask how your data has been used. We answer every request within 30 days, in writing.
